Meredith Carter, Ph.D.
Owner, Clinical Psychologist
Meredith founded Withinsight Behavioral Health after more than 17 years working as a Clinical Psychologist. She earned her B.A. from Colby College in 2002, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University in 2007. Meredith is licensed in the states of MA, NY and VT. With early experience working in community mental health and college counseling and behavioral health centers, Meredith began her private practice in Brookline, MA and then opened an additional office in Manchester, VT. Over time, Withinsight was born out of desire to reach more clients. Meredith feels truly privileged to be a part of her client's stories, and for the trust her clients put in her, especially during their times of vulnerability, challenge and transition. With transition and change comes opportunity, and it has been truly inspiring to help clients navigate their identities during these times.

Sasha Winters, LMSW
Therapist
Sasha is a social worker by training and is licensed in NY and VT. Her background in community mental health has influenced her therapeutic approach to be rooted in collaboration and advocacy. She aims to empower clients to see new perspectives to make positive change in their lives and strives to create a judgment-free space that encourages the vulnerability necessary for effective therapeutic work. She loves helping people gain clarity on what gives their lives meaning and exploring life’s big questions. She incorporates narrative therapy and CBT frameworks to encourage individuals to take ownership of their stories rather than relying on how their stories may have been told to them by other people or society.
